Tri-Fold Cut Out Birthday Card . . .

inspired by a Hallmark card i received for my birthday . . .

used CDS with George, Celebrations, and Doodlecharms to design it -



here is the .cut file note: when i cut the base of this card, for some reason everything freezes up after it finishes cutting. i have to turn the cricut off to get the mat out and i have to restart my design studio :( but it's still worth it! if anyone know a fix to this issue, please let me know!

Lighthouse Thank You

here's a tri-shutter card i made for my friend's husband (who loves lighthouses and cut our grass while we were on vacation!).

a wedding card i made for my cousin's daughter - the accordian fold from scor-pal (i made mine slightly larger, started with 5.5" X 12" cardstock).

for the Cuttlebug Spot challenge! great timing! had a couple of cards i needed to get out quickly. i wasn't sure about them, but the more i look at them, the more i like them! i used all scraps!

the "Tank" card is for my stepson who lost his beloved Doberman (named "Tank") yesterday. the inside message is "Our furry companions may leave our sides, but they stay in our hearts forever. Please know that we share your sorrow".

Big Girl Panties!

Yay! Grace has big girl panties! Journaling reads:

Potty Training - Week 1: We had a long weekend with MLK day, so you didn't have school. That made it a prime time to start your potty training! We started on Saturday morning with your new big girl panties! You had Elmo, Nemo, and Jo Jo new pants. You seemed unaffected by them. But that's ok. You had a few accidents and we took you to potty every 30 minutes of so. Your teachers did the same thing. You never had any accidents at school! About half way through the week you seemed to catch on and would come to me only after you had wet your pants. Then a day or so later, you would take off running to the potty, only not quite in time. When you did what you were 'supposed to', you got to choose between a giant marshmallow or M & Ms.

wow, this was a hard thing to do - it means you're not a baby anymore because you've outgrown your crib - you did so well - on the very first night, you crawled right up in there and got under the covers. after your dad was finished reading, you pulled the covers up over your head and went to sleep - and you slept through the night - such a big girl - *sigh* time flies -
