Big Girl Panties!

Yay! Grace has big girl panties! Journaling reads:

Potty Training - Week 1: We had a long weekend with MLK day, so you didn't have school. That made it a prime time to start your potty training! We started on Saturday morning with your new big girl panties! You had Elmo, Nemo, and Jo Jo new pants. You seemed unaffected by them. But that's ok. You had a few accidents and we took you to potty every 30 minutes of so. Your teachers did the same thing. You never had any accidents at school! About half way through the week you seemed to catch on and would come to me only after you had wet your pants. Then a day or so later, you would take off running to the potty, only not quite in time. When you did what you were 'supposed to', you got to choose between a giant marshmallow or M & Ms.

wow, this was a hard thing to do - it means you're not a baby anymore because you've outgrown your crib - you did so well - on the very first night, you crawled right up in there and got under the covers. after your dad was finished reading, you pulled the covers up over your head and went to sleep - and you slept through the night - such a big girl - *sigh* time flies -

hee hee - this will just 'crack' you up!

journaling reads: And so begins the bedtime process . . . you ride on your Daddy's shoulders up to get into the bathtub. On this particular day, you were quite anxious to get out of your pants and diaper. I got one of those 'I don't know about this' looks from your Dad, but being the risk taker that he is (not), he still put you on his shoulders for the ride!

Grace's Third Birthday!

Journaling - We were so happy to have your cousins from Virginia with us for your 3rd birthday! Aunt Cindy, Uncle Tommy, Jennifer and Katie and Grams Wheeler and Bud Wittman! We decorated and wore hats and celebrated with the Wiggles! The first thing you went for were the balloons on the cake and the car!

Our Wedding Invitation

this one goes in our wedding album! enjoyed working with the Autumn Leaves Rhonna Farrer papers and transparency on this page. handcut title. also the fastenator (inked with brown staz-on) to attach the ribbon. the invitation pulls up and reads: This day I will marry my friend, the one I laugh with, live for, dream with, love. We, (our names) will pledge our love as one on Friday, September third Nineteen hundred and ninety-nine at sunset in the gazebo at the Renaissance Jamaica Grande, Ocho Rios, Jamaica. We joyfully ask you to share this day with us, if not personally, in spirit.

why, she's on Gram's Big Bed amongst the critters! and they are bigger than her! here she was 6 months old. i believe it was the first trip to gram's house in January, 2003!
